The problem is that PHP has different implementations: php-cgi, php-cli, apache
1.3 and apache 2.0, and that Apache is not always present.
Also, when installing a bunch of modules, it can restart apache several times,
resulting in some downtime for the server, and, if mod_jserv or mod_bwshare are
present, can result in weird behavior.
So the decision for the moment is not to restart Apache, until a new solution
(perhaps using triggers) makes it safe to restart the httpd server multiple
times in a row.

I think that the installation of php-curl should restart http server. Probably
restarting Apache should be good enough.
