That kernel is for 9.1
BugZilla is for upcoming 9.2,
where that ide chipset already is supported altleast since 2.4.21 final

IDE DMA is still unavailable with kernel 2.4.21-0.25mdk on the laptop Acer TM800
LCi (I imagine also with other Centrino laptops).
