Cooker is presently broken - I reported this a few days ago on this list - KDE especially won't install (and can't be used to upgrade an existing install due to failed dependencies) According to the release schedule (http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/twiki/bin/view/Main/ReleaseInfo#Schedule_estimation_WarLy) Beta 2 is due on the 5th of August - so I guess some patience is advisable . . .
