Same thing for commando "head".
Some (mandrake) boot scripts now fail because they use "head -1", which is now 
"obsolete":

head: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1'
Try `head --help' for more information.

Hello, 
just to tell that for example "nice --10 top" doesn't work anymore ! 
I know exact syntax should be "nice -n -10 top" as told with "nice --help", 
but the "nice" version from many unix systems works with both syntax (nice 
--10 / nice -n -10), and it was the case under all linux distro i've tried. 
 
Could it be "corrected" ? I would have to change many of my scripts if not !
