Duh, didn't know that, thanks :-) I compiled everything (rpm -bb style).

Hmm, could be that there was something stale, I didn't try rebuild it (I had just built the rpms from it). But funny thing is, that with the standard mdk enterprise kernel, I just have to install kernel-source and the drivers build without problems, without having to recompile the source.
