------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-08-08 04:47 ------- Installing XFree86-75dpi-fonts unfortunately didn't help. But acctually I do have other font problems. The fonts seem quite unstable because on my desktop install, after installing fonts-ttf-vera, they don't show up in kcontrol font config. I have a similar install on my laptop however (minimal install with X and docs and then adding kdebase to the install) and there it shows. The laptop had the same problem with xmms fonts however so there is more than one problem I suppose. Thinking about it, gtkfonts did look horrible on the desktop install after the fresh install and my min-getty (ctrl-alt-1) font is as high as the monitor is. Thanks for the hints! Ill try to dig deeper :) Bjorn -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: "The font "-adobe-helvetica-bold-r-*-*-10-*" does not support all the required character sets for the current locale "en_GB" (Missing character set "ISO8859-1") (Missing character set "ISO8859-1") ** CRITICAL **: Couldn't open playlist font " >From fresh 9.2 beta 2 install. Changing playlist font naturally solves the problem, adobe-helvetica not included anymore?
