No, kernel-utils *is* required by 'initscripts' , but it is provided by ksymoops
also. See #4499 for more info.

There's a minor problem when drakboot under 'Lilo/grub mode' it does not display what
boot
manager is used. Instead it simply displays:
'you are currently using as your boot manager'
