------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-07-08 18:52 -------
I didn't really observe any "crazy" behavior driven by the missing user
account. I removed using userdel, and drakbackup still tries to backup the
home dir of the missing user. Even with the home dir deleted, all I noted was
a couple of gripes from find and tar, but the backup still executed.
Nonetheless, I added a check now after reading the config file, that all users
in the configuration still exist, and if they don't the config is altered and
and logged in /var/log/messages. Fixed in CVS.

description:
Try to set up backup for a user, then remove the user with userdrake.
There is no way to remove the backup setting in drakbackup, without editing the config
file in
/etc/ by hand.
