Product: Installation
Component: Installation
Summary: Cannot find configuration file error during autorun in
Windows
Product: Installation
Version: 1.817
Platform: PC
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: Installation
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
When putting the Beta 2 CD1 in the drive while under Windows, when the autorun
program starts, a message is displayed that the configuration file could not be
found. Pressing the OK button, the normal screen which appears under Windows is
displayed, but there is no text, only a single question mark next to each icon.
Clicking on the question mark appears to bring up the appropriate action, but
again, if a dialog is presented, there isn't any text, just the title bar and
buttons (which do have text).
While most people won't install from under Windows, after burning the CD1 ISO
under windows, the autorun kicks off automatically (as it should), so this will
be seen by anyone who uses Windows to burn the iso images.
