These are the steps I took:-
1) Selected a Microsoft Mouse
2) It takes me to the test mouse page nothing worked
3) I go back
4) Select another Mouse like Generic Scroll Wheel
5) It takes me to the test page, mouse refuses to work
6) Reboot
7) Back at install, select generic mouse and I can continue.
So, there seems to be a large bug in this mouse detection/setup code. Ever
version of Mandrake I've tried (since 9.0) has had this bug.
