good point ( cf xandros filemanager, etc .. ). But at the same time keeping the original package allow to track bug easily and facilitate upgrade for users. mdk normally don't have the power to mainain a separate KDE/Gnome ( even if they want to spend their time maintenant a fork of kdm ), so it will be better if it is implemented in Konqueror. But if think KDE developpers prefer Konqueror as it is ... Nautilis now is easier to understand that Konqueror ... The button is not easy to understand as you have to understand the icon, pass the mouse and read the tooltip, and finally most of the times users don't use it. IMHO VFS multi root tree view of Nautilus is better and easier to understand, just read and look the icon. On top of that it remind me Explorer, so for windows users ...
