Joe,
I checked and the manual on I should put it out after 10, 20, ..120 secs.
In my case it keeps on blinking:
Video Input
1 Dsub
Out of Range
It can't stop so I think it is to serious to ignore.
According to the manual it is a timing problem
When the monitor goes to standby it should give the message:
Video Input
1 Dsub
No Signal
And this only once.
Playing with power control doesn't help; it keeps on blinking.
I have asked this in the newsgroups, but it looks like I'm the only one with
this problem.
Bob

Hi,
I have a Nvidia Geforce2 Ti (64 Mb) with a NEC MultiSync LCD 1850E flatscreen
monitor.
When my monitor goes from screensaver to standby I get the message:
Video Input
1 Dsub
Out of Range
Automaticly is found a plug and play monitor.
In xconfig-4 there are the right values for resolutions, frequencies.
According to my NEC manual there is something wrong with the timing.
Regards,
Bob Gelink
