You are right Frederic, my report is not understandable at all. I will try to
explain it more carefully.
When using GDM as a desktop manager, logging and starting a desktop session
(GNOME or KDE, it does not matter), several programs such as xsetroot, xdpyinfo,
greps, etc. start for a while until GDM completely crash and you are back to GDM
login. You cannot start your preferred desktop usign GDM. I had the impression
that these programs where related to the firsttime steps in a desktop session (I
do not known indeed). 
When using MDKKDM as DM, I have a correct behaviour.
