Aargh no...  The beta 3 is obvoiusly not ready for release...  On my laptop the beta3 
kernel won't even
boot (oops on startup).  Booting from an earlier kernel it's obvious that half the 
packages don't work.

I think I'll stick with 7.0 and wait for a fixed version...
