While playing some games like KPocker and Chromium BSU I noticed that it is not possible to play multiple sounds at the same time. In KPocker for example a news sound sample isn't played before the current playing one isn't finished (when clicking on cards rapidly). In Chromium BSU when one sound is playing and you do something which requires another sample to be played the current one is stoped and the new one plays. So it is not possibl for two or more sound samples to play at the same time.

Is this a problem of ALSA or aRTS or application?
