same problem here even when the stick is not attached.

Everytime when I try to update lilo while my usbstick is connected (not even
mounted), it fails with 'Fatal: cache_add: LILO internal error'

Calling lilo -v 5 reveals that it mistakenly tries to access the usbstick:
