drakconnect really is buggy on console (though i guess interactive laybe may be
the criminal)

no IP filled during install
when using drakconf in command line or drakconnect to configure local network,
when it comes to IP fill in, it skip all usual screen ans say "congratulation
network config is done".
Ip is not changed
On X it is better
with "drakpanel" "network" category
i can fill iP but it revert back to "badIP" label.
The "assistant" to configure everything or "expert mode" to change only IP
results in "badIp" label
