Why are you using from kde-look.org, when we have the cursor-themes
package in contrib? AFAIK, all the freely-distributable themes are in it ...

I use cursor themes (currently Redhat to test it, though I used
yellowdot and Silver a lot before) on NVidia TNT2 with NVidia drivers,
and haven't seen any more problems with NVidia than with normal cursors.
