for 9.2 beta 2
My Sony Vaio PCG-Z600NE has an external PCMCIA CDROM (PCGA-CD51) which is a
Toshiba CDROM with a PCMCIA IDE interface, when trying to boot the install CD 1
or 2 I get as far as iddentifying the hardware whereupon the laptop locks up and
I have to turn it off to get anywhere. This also happens when I insert the card
while the system is running. In 8.2 the CDROM worked fine it also works under
Win2000.

9.1 just refused to recognise the CDROM even existed.

What iunformation do you require to help you get this wotking?
