The latest mplayer 0.91-4mdk has smb support. Please update your libsmbclient0
to 2.2.8a-8mdk.

When I try to open an smb:// source I get: "MPlayer was not compiled with SMB
reading support".
Yes, I could mount the Samba directory, but this is not convenient if you use
different networks at different places.
