sorry, but this bug has not been fixed. It still happens regularly here with
1.4.4-4mdk.
here's how I can always reproduce it:
0. /usr/lib/evolution/1.4/killev
1. mv ~/evolution ~/evolution.bak
2. start up evolution
3. _RIGHT_ click on the calendar item in the shortcut menu
4. "open in separate window"
5. separate calendar window opens
6. change to some other day than today on the month view
7. left double click on some hour in the day view
8. enter some date information
6. close that window
7a. immediate _freeze_ OR
7b. freeze when you try to exit evolution as a whole

the freeze happens 90% of the time, and if so, no console output.
