AFAIK, this depens on the mount options if you use supermount (IIRC
sync/nosync). The only thing I use floppy disks for now is making
Mandrake boot floppies, so I don't have an fstab entry for my floppy at
all, so I never see this.

Can you post your fstab entry for your floppy?

Anyway, you can just type 'sync', and it should flush everything to the
floppy. If you mounted manually (ie not using supermount), then this
will occur on umount anyway.
