I know it looks stupid, but this is the only way I could get the drives to
work. It did not work on the CD-ROM cable, and it could not detect the WDC
as master. The WDC is UDMA so I would expect that to have been faster even
with (U)DMA disabled. WDC said that if the drive speeds differ greatly
that it may be impossible for the BIOS to detect the drive as master, so I
would need to use another setup, but as I said I can't get any other setup
to work! I think with DMA off it should work fine because they will be on
a level playing field if you will. If you can help farther, that would be
appreciated :)
