------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-29-08 00:12 ------- Ok, what i meant was standardised = compatible with all the wireless network detection tools available out there. I think it is very important for Mandrake to sort out the following: -GUI configuration of wireless networks -GUI detection of wireless networks -A close link between the two (i.e. super-duper easy configuration) This is especially true since WIFI is getting more and more standardised (c.f. WIFI + Centrino) and it would be a shame for Mandrake to miss this niche (no other Linux distro offers this yet) -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: Hey, I think wlan-ng should be used to setup the wireless features of the SMC2632W rather than whatever Mandrake is currently using (it's loading orinoco_cs). This would standardise a bit more the way wireless is handled under Mandrake 9.2.
