description:
I first intalled MDK 9.0, with GRUB, in multiboot with WindowsXP. I made a
multiboot menu in /boot/grub/menu.lst : "Boot Windows", "Boot Linux", "Boot
disquette"). Then I tried to update with MDK 9.1 RC1 (not a new install, I
choosed Update). It works fine, I did not format the partions, I just selected
new packages, but at the end, just when the install-program tried to install
GRUB again, it always said something like "Can not install GRUB, there's a
space in one of the GRUB menu".
I changed all the names in the GRUB menu (I wrote only "Windows", "Linux",
"Disquette") in a COTRL/ALT/F1 console, but it did not change anything and I
had to reboot and to install the new GRUB manually.
