Re-assigning to Lenny as he packaged acroread for 9.2. If the 9.2 package is ok, we
can throw it
on club for 9.1 users as well.

Note: this bug is about Adobe Acrobat reader package for ML 9.1(which is
included in commercial apps disk or as download for club members) - but there is
no such product in Bugzilla, so I filing this under Installation. Please move as
appropriate.

When using a utf8 locale (in my case: en_US.utf8) and running Adobe Acrobat, you
get the error message
>acroread
unknown encoding"UTF8". Using iso8859-1 instead

and then acroread segfaults.

Of course, the proper way to fix it would be to have acroread recognize utf8
encoding - but let Adobe do this. As a temporary measure, the following works:

LC_ALL=en_US; acroread

So we could just add "LC_ALL=en_US" (or whatever the locale is - stripping utf8)
to the wrapper script /opt/Acrobat5/bin/acroread
