------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-30-08 15:39 ------- I removed my .gtkrc and .gtkrc-2.0 files. As you said, I can now change my themes in the control center. So, this is not a bug of the software, but I would say it is an upgrade bug that should be fix! I have never touch these files under 9.1, so all users upgrading from 9.1 and using gnome will have to manually delete these files to be able to change themes with Gnome theme. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: I have upgraded from mandrake 9.1. In 9.1, I played with both KDE and Gnome, so I had some gnome preferences (.gnome-desktop etc...) already. With 9.2 and Gnome 2.4Beta, I have a theme problem. I cannot change the GTK theme. Step to reproduce the problem: Start with Mandrake 9.1. Create a user and log in gnome (to ensure the profile is created) Upgrade to 9.2 Log in Gnome with the same user. Go to themes preferences (in gnome control center) Press the "Theme's details" button In the "Controls" tab, choose another theme, your GTK theme should remain essentially the same. The problem does not occur when creating a new user: the themes switch normally
