description:
When I attempt to install libelfutils (actually a
urpmi --auto-select) I get the following message:
The following packages have to be removed for others
to be upgraded:
mrtg-2.9.29-1mdk (due to missing net-snmp)
nagat-1.0-0.a2.1mdk (due to missing nagios)
nagios-1.0-7mdk (due to missing nagios-plugins)
nagios-plugins-1.3.0-1mdk (due to missing libelf.so.0)
nagios-www-1.0-7mdk (due to unsatisfied nagios == 1.0-7mdk, due to unsatisfied
nagios == 1.0-7mdk)
net-snmp-5.0.8-2mdk (due to missing libelf.so.0, due to missing net-snmp-utils)
net-snmp-utils-5.0.8-2mdk (due to missing libelf.so.0)
If I approve the removal I cannot install net-snmp or the other packages since
libelf.so.0
is missing even though it is there.
I do not understand why net-snmp uses libelf. Anyway looking in the spec file (in cvs)
I
see no reference to libelf.
