more like a limitation. One would need to add clusters, or change the size of the clusters.

Well, it could be usefull to resize up partitions. I think (but should be checked) that it was possible on 8.x installations
You know, often the people do a little partition for Mandrake, then after try it and use it the need to make it bigger is here ! ;o)
So be obliged to use another tool (often a livecd, cause you can't resize a partition you're using), I mean a knoppix for example instead of be able to do all the needed operations to install/upgrade a Mandrake system in different situations is a bit sad. (for me at least)
