[Cooker] 7.1 - alsa weirdness

        Anybody got any ideas on why I keep having to re-run alsactl to get
any volume? My sound modules seem to be unloading periodically, and when
they're reloaded for a sound app, the mixer has been reset to all zeros. I was
previously running 6.1 with an older version of alsa, so maybe something has
changed that I don't know about. Any ideas on how to correct this?
