           Product: kdebase
         Component: program
Summary: Accessing localhost when you have a proxy configured is
                    tricky
           Product: kdebase
           Version: 3.1.3-59mdk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: program
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

In konqueror if you have a proxy configured and you want to access localhost,
konqueror will try to connect through the proxy server which shouldn't be so.
Adding localhost to the Exceptions will work but adding http://localhost
won't. It took me a long time until I could figure it out. The funny thing is
if I entered the proxy name without the "http:// ". i.e. myproxyname not
"h t t p: // myproxyname" it won't work!!
