------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-09 20:40 -------
It works correctly with rpmdrake 2.1-31mdk when called with [EMAIL PROTECTED]:uz

Could you provide the version number of rpmdrake you are using (rpm -q rpmdrake),
or better, test with a newer version.

And also, for i18n related problems, always attach your $HOME/.i18n or
/etc/sysconfig/i18n file.

However, as the cyrillic translations are indeed found; I'm likely to think that
the problem was with the mo file.

description:
I have mdk-92-rc1 in Uzbek-cyrillic ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). When "Mandrake choice" is
selected rpmdrake shows strings in package-list frame in Uzbek-latin (uz_UZ).
The other strings are correct. Apparently, it takes them from
/usr/share/locale/uz/LC_MESSAGES/rpmdrake.mo instead of
../[EMAIL PROTECTED]/../rpmdrake.mo. When I delete this file, the strings in
package-list
frame are in English.

Thanks.
