Can you run "ddcxinfos" as root with your X server shutdown?

Then send this information to this ticket... I'll submit the info to add the
monitor to the database (if it's missing).

description:
I install Linux Mandrake 9.1 beta3 and is it impossible to configure the X
server to have something correct on my monitor.

Monitor : Samsung SyncMaster 191T
Graphic card : Geforce DDR
My monitor is connect to the graphic card with digital interface : DVI

This problem is like on Linux Mandrake 9.0 : I should configure X with a bad
video mode (color not corresponding : red on a pixel, green on an other and
blue on a third for all the window) in 800 x 600 that is only support by my
monitor. Stating with this mode as root and install nvidia drivers 4191. When I
start again, all is correct and I can change the mode to 1280 x 1024 (best mode
with this monitor).

The problem is that I can't do the same thing with Mandrake 9.1 because there
is no Nvidia driver for it.

Can you add the Samsung SyncMaster 191T in your list of monitors ?

Can you add support of digital DVI interface for Nvidia video chip ?

Or the best : can you add Nvidia driver 4191 in Mandrake 9.1 ?

Thanks.
