The bug is still valid, with the change that the shift key no longer works.

Now the numbers from impedded keypad don't work at all.

I can use Num Lock perfectly in any one of the six standard text consoles.
However, it doesn't work correctly in X Windows.

- turning it on does not light up the indicator
- "m" correctly gives "-" but none of the others work; they seem to act as arrow
keys and not number keys

As in the summary line, I'm using a French keyboard on a ThinkPad 390X. I'm in
en_US.UTF-8.
