Well, I decided I had been running cooker for too long and might had some very bad things around. Specially after I tried to upgrade to the latest kernel and it was another big mess..
So after a night on the "job" I reformated partitions, and installed RC1 from scratch... and it does work fine now. Will get back into some cooker update very soon.. :-) Bernard Stew Benedict wrote: > On Fri, 5 Sep 2003, Bernard Varaine wrote: > > >>after having problem with my D-Link wireless card I removed the pcmcia >>package and all wireless extensions. >> >>reisntalled pcmcia_cs and now pcmcia doesn' t work anymor at all. >> >>trying to run cardmgr complain of no pcmcia device in /proc/devices >> >>any idea ? >> >>BErnard >> > > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] stew]$ head -1 /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia > PCMCIA=yes > > I'd suspect this may be set to "no" now? > -- -------------------------Quote of the day -------------------------- Ice and water, Their difference resolved, Are friends again.
