I installed 9.2RC1 normally yesterday, but when I rebooted to the normal desktop
and I got the screen 9.2 and a bar it goes half way and the screen goes black. I
rebooted it manually by pressing the button. The screen for what to run comes
up I choose linux again then the 9.2 screen comes up the bar goes like halfway
and they it all goes black.
I am not sure if it is an X problem. Here are my hardware specs
Pentium 4 2.53G
Intel� Desktop Board D845PEBT2
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound Card
Gainward Geforce 4 Ti4200 64MB W/DVI
Viewsonic VX900 19" LCD w/DVI
I am using the DVI cable to connect to my moniter. Also I have a wireless
linksys 54G card in there(WMP54G i beleive). IT has a broadcom chipset so I
dont think that is good news.
ANOTHER BUG I MIGHT AS WELL MENTION SINCE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT PACKAGE IT
CORRESPONDS WITH.
Also I have another computer that i tried it on a compaq presario 7200 and it
works fine (VGA monitor) but it does not shut down correctly it hangs up on
shutdown. I get a balck screen but the computer still one. I manually have to
turn it off.
