           Product: kernel
         Component: default
           Summary: PCMCIA won't stop
           Product: kernel
           Version: 2.4.22-4mdk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P2
         Component: default
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When I want to reboot or shutdown my 9.2 Cooker, my laptop always hangs at the
pcmcia step.

I get a message telling me :
unregister:netdevice: waiting for eth0 to become free. Usage count = 2

Right before that I have a line that says:
Stopping eth0 [OK]
So I don't understand...

If that helps, eth0 is not automatically loaded at start, because it is an
ethernet pccard.

This is a critical bug for me because I have to force the computer to power off
and when I reboot I get the usual message telling me that my filesystem needs to
be checked.
