As of Cooker of 03 Sep 2003, part of this problem appears to have been
corrected.  I can now install Cooker on this machine, however, the Stage 2
install looks like someone hit the installation program with an ugly stick.

All I see on the screen is the panel that shows up on the right side of a normal
stage 2 install, centered on the screen, with a border of a "lime green" color.
 The fonts are larger than they should be, and the background color of this
section of the screen is a dark blue.

install exited abnormally :-(

Installs of beta1 and beta2 on this machine worked at this point correctly.
