------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-07-09 02:06 ------- I do believe it already has one...isn't that what "unsafe" is for? -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: LILO will refuse to process a lilo.conf file if it contains an "other" entry pointing to a partition which does not at that moment have a valid boot sector. This is annoying if you have partitions around for purposes of installing cooker. If an install fails after formatting the partition but before installing the bootloader, you're screwed if you have to rerun LILO for any reason (like a new version of the isolinux files) unless you comment the entry out. LILO needs a "mind your own business and do as you're told" option.
