Well another thing worth noting is that I did run an upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2 RC1.

Another weird occurence just happened a few minutes ago. After going through
the describe fix the wireless stop working after a few hours. I noticed my
signal strength go to 0.

Then I tried a 'ifdown eth0' which worked. Then a 'ifup eth0' which resulted in
the same error message about no cable.

Is there some cron job that would have messed with that??

When I run the network wizard my wireless ethernet works perfect. Then when I
reboot I get the error message that there is no cable present.

Then if i run the wizard again the internet works fine again until the next time
that I reboot my computer.

Here is the listing for my card from harddrake
