real windows sysadmins do use scripting and command line tools to accomplish complex task. I have seen ppl exporting activedirectory in ldif or cvs to apply complex changes....
their advantage is they don't to do this it for simple or casual modifications.
, they have to allow the user to do what she needs quickly and easily.
But it also needs to cater to advanced configuration, which at present can only be achieved by using the editor of your choice, the man page, and watching syslog to see if you made a mistake ...
