After updating packages yesterday, I have come across an annoying change, and though I can't fathom how any of the updated packages caused it, I have not really done any other changes on my machine. The change is this: the output from 'ls' now sorts the capitalized files and directories first, afterwards displaying the lowercase. This has never been the case on my machine, where always before it would sort alphabetically but without case sensitivity (on the upside, it now displays numbered items after the original as opposed to before, eg. test.c before test2.c). This is not a fatal problem, more of an annoyance as I first stated, so if anyone knows how to fix this, I would appreciate it greatly.
