Hello,
When I install Mandrake 7.1, my video card (G400 max) is detected as a
G400 16MB card as opposed to the 32MB card that it is. There are other
differences on the card such as the RAMDAC (360MHz compared to 300?),
and whatever else, I'm not sure. Anyway, I've changed the 16MB to 32MB
in all instances in my XF86config file (did that help?) and I'm
wondering if my card could be running better? Is this just all the
support for my card? It seems to run ok (except can't seem to get quake
3 running without being really choppy - sound and video), just wondering
if I can make it (Mandrake 7.1) see the card as 'G400 Max 32MB'.
