Same error with 2.4.22-6 kernel
but! the performance is much better 25-35 MB/s

I have a ASUS P4PE motherboard with 2 SATA disks and a pdc-ultra : Promise
Technology|PDC20376 FastTrak 376 Controller.
I get the above error when installing a new kernel.
The disk performance is about 1,5 MB a sek, not good, with the pdc_ultra driver.
