------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-11-09 18:03 ------- This is a FAQ and the answer is that the installer is not capable from installing from more than the first iso. What can be be done is to extract the isos with something like isobuster in Windows or loop mount and copy the contents to the hard disk in linux with something like mount -o loop -t iso9660 /path/to/iso /mnt/disk cp -a /mnt/disk /mnt/disk2 umount /mnt/disk where /mnt/disk2 is a partition large enough to hold the directory tree. Repeat for each iso. With that, booting from the hd.img floppy will install from all the sources. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: System: x86 with installation CD1-CD3 iso images on a hard disk attached via USB. Problem: Installer reported an error that installation of package libefsl fails. Installation of further packages fails too as the installer does not seem to switch to CD2/CD3 when CD1 is done. I was impressed that aborting made the installer terminate package installation, cleaning up missing dependencies and continue with post install config. Proposed solutions: 1) Mount and switch images in selected hd directory automagically 2) Give the user a dialog to change images at the time of reporting the error
