I agree that removing devfs=mount from /etc/lilo.conf is a kludge and does not
solve the underlining problem.

This is more true now since a new install of LM9.2rc2 has added devfs=mount to
the entries in /etc/lilo.conf. 

Things are getting worst instead of better!

Are these type of filesystems entries intended ? Should they not be /dev/hdb1 
and /dev/hdb6 instead ?
