-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 This has been irritating me for a while, all other MS Office document types have associations with OpenOffice.org (which is good), but for some reason my Mandrake boxes believe Writer is incapable of opening .doc files, and that I must use the netscape plugin viewer to preview them.
Can someone please fix this? It looks like it's not an OpenOffice.org problem, maybe a KDE mime types issue (Nautilus offers only OpenOffice.org). This is probably at present my number 3 irritation (after KDE double click confusion, and lack of the "Start new session" menu entry by default).
