9.2RC2 begins install without USB mouse response/detection. This is with both a
logitech MX-700 and an optical MSIntelliMouse on an Abit AT7-MAX2-based PC with
PS2 keyboard. Using the keyboard I had to explicitly select a USB mouse where it
seemed to want to look only for a serial mouse. (There hasn't been a difference
in previous versions to my memory (at least as far back as 8.0) and USB mouse
has always been automatically identified as a serial mouse.)
On subsequent restarts, the MS mouse no longer works (haven't tried the
MX-700). This might well have been since I tried a suspend to disk from the KDE
menu which went spectacularly wrong itself - currupted video memory/system
freeze with no response from NumLock etc.
System is home-rolled AT7-MAX2 tripple-boot. Keyboard is PS2. Other USB
devices attached are the lead for a cheapo nisis digicam and a SonyEricsson P800
cradle.

description:
During the installation, I have seen two different cases :

* On the HP D530 machine, I have a full USB set. (USB keyboard and USB mouse)
The keyboard works but not the mouse. The error mouse message is :
  "/dev/mouse input/output error".

* On an older machine with another full USB set, both hasn't worked.
