Summary says it all. After installing LM 9.2 RC2 I tried a number of things,
leading finally to writing a set of CD-Rs. None of the listed programs
connected to cdrecord. I have a Tyan 1854 mobo at 667 Mhz with 512Mbytes of
ram. The secondary ide has the Creative CD-RW RW8432E as master and a Liteon
JLMS XJ-HD1665 DVD-ROM drive. After trying the 3 Guis, I then wrote the disks
with no problems from the command line.
