The alsa drivers installed perfectly but non-root users can't hear anything.
/dev/dsp should not come up root only.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] duanev]$ ls -l /dev/dsp
lr-xr-xr-x 1 root root 9 Sep 12 20:46 /dev/dsp -> sound/dsp
[EMAIL PROTECTED] duanev]$ ls -l /dev/sound/dsp
crw------- 1 root audio 14, 3 Dec 31 1969 /dev/sound/dsp
I'm using "standard" security. This is 9.2 rc2
(sorry if the component is wrong - but non of the options match)
